Wanted to check this place out because they offer planetary strains and I was curious as to the donation price.
Let me start by saying that this place is right next door to where the Kush Kingdom use to be. Pretty small waiting room with a single couch, no TV or magazines to read so the 15-20 minutes I waited before even being verified seemed like eternity..did I mention I was the only patient in there. When I finally received the paperwork, it looked like something that the printer had spit out (completely unorganized, some papers were cut-off and missing info, no staple on these 12 or so pages either) I'd say it was a good 25-30 minutes before I got to see any meds.
Basic co-op set up, nothing special..looks like they're still in the process of fixing the place up. I made a bee-line to the meds and immediately asked about their planetary strains, turns out they just had one..labeled "planetary strain"..which I have never seen, it's usually got a planetary name like Mars, Venus, ect. When he told me the price for an eighth, I handed the jar back to the BT and almost turned around and walked out. He noticed my shock and said he would do me a solid for my first time and only charge me $70!!! outrageous!! This is gouging people. I told the BT I would never pay more than $60 for any eighth so he steered me towards some Bubba Kush that looked amazing, but lacked in smell and some Grapefruit Kush that was equally amazing and had a real nice grape, not grapefruit smell. I ended up getting a half eighth of each for $60 and because I waited so long, the BT gave me 2 grams of each instead of 1.7's...oh and a free joint of their house shake (that's probably the only reason I didn't give them a lower score than I did)
Got home and was real anxious to try them both. The Bubba looked sooo good, but sadly had no taste at all :( The Grapefruit was also unbelievably awesome as well, but it too had no taste. Looks like something went wrong during the curing process. Got irie off these meds, especially the Bubba, but taste is big in my book.
I hate when I have to completely dump on a club, but I do this for all of you, I do this so you can avoid a potentially BAD experience..through me. Oh, I almost forgot, today I received a phone call from what sounded like the owner or another BT and he practically demanded that I come back in cause they didn't get a copy of my doctor's rec or my I.D when I came in yesterday..? WOW! He said if I didn't come in today that I would have to do the whole verification process again...OMG go through that again, how about I save us both the trouble and never come back period.

Made it a point to stop in today and see what this place was all about. New club so they're still doing a little remodeling, but the place definitely has potential. I breezed through verification and was warmly welcomed into Forty Two.
I like when the BT shows you whats good so you don't have to look in every jar to make sure your making the best choice. He had maybe 5 out of the 15 jars they had, out on top of the table for me to inspect and all looked decent. I usually get an eighth split from clubs so I can write a more well rounded review. Some clubs have their meds pre-weighed, but that is not the case here. I ended up going with a half eighth of Afgan#1 $60 (visually stunning with a super pungent odor..real strong pine/trainwreck smell. a little dry, but smokes great. nice taste, inhale & exhale. mellow indica high) and a half eighth of Jack Herer $50 (what can I say about Jack that you don't already know. nice and fluffy and busting with trichs. smell was a match. taste I thought was a little mild, but it was there. left me stung.) Being a first timer and all, they took $5 off my eighth and kicked me down with a free half-gram sample of their Sour D (good smell, good looking..nice and powdery. mild taste. punishing high.)
Overall this place has a nice vibe with friendly, hospitable staff and is definitely worth a visit if your in the area. Go score yourself some Afgan. I would love to see this club invest in some more Kush strains, I'm partial to Kush because it delivers the pungent potency I need.

BUT once again, I was in a bind and needed a quick solution and Horizon is the only dispensary in walking distance from my work...so Horizon it was. I was actually surprised to see some decent $50 strains and the first one I looked at was it. Their Grape Skunk had a real potent fruity aroma and such an appealing look that I didn't even feel the need to look at anything else. The BT weighed out some nice chunky nugs for me and threw in the usual free lighter and I was off to get some much needed relief.
As good as this strain smelled, it majorly lacked in taste, however it did do the job and that's what's most important. One bowl had me where I needed to be.

It's been a good month since my last trip to SDHHC cause I've been out exploring other clubs around San Diego and though some of these other clubs offer a similar selection and quality...they just don't have the consistency and feel that the healing center has. No matter where I go this place will always be HOME BASE for me.
I love OG Kush and this place has the whole god damn solar system, along with many other top shelf Indicas and Sativas. On this visit I scooped up an eighth of some Uranus ($60), eighth of Afkoo ($50), and an eighth of their Mixd Bag ($30). which I think they should call mixdking!..lol.
The Uranus was some pretty potent stuff, smelly as hell..that's probably the reason I went with it over the Venus and Titan. Great taste with a high so stoney...you almost feel spun..oh and the nug I got looked hella small, but weighed out..super dense bud! The Afkoo was decent for $50..a nice light green color bulging with golden hairs. Taste, smell, and high were a little mild, but it worked well as an A.M. medication. I'm a big fan of their Mixd Bag, you never really know what your gonna get. I like to use this crumble for my vape, I just cant see grinding up prize nuggets to vape. This is a cheap alternative considering your only donating 30 bucks for the eighth and if your come in on a Sunday you can knock $5 off that $30. Gotta love that!
These guys really shouldn't be worried about all the other collective's springing up in the area cause not only are the new guidelines coming out next year that will probably cause these spots to relocate, but it's just gonna be hard for anyone to compete with what SDHHC is doing....and I will go and review these places just to prove my point..and yes it will be an honest review.

It's a must I swing by the Tree on Sunday's. I can't see paying 65 dollars for an eighth of meds, but on this day their Planetary strains are at a more down-to-earth donation price $60.
I was hoping to score some Saturn cause last time I was there I peeped it and it was out of this world..but just my luck though, no Saturn..they're also out of Obama OG. The BT ended up steering me towards their Earth..which didn't look as fire as the Saturn, but was still stunning and just as stinky. So Earth it was..raced home and weighed my eighth as I always do and what do you know..? 3.9 baby!
The taste test revealed some genuine OG flavor with a mega crippling high (no pun intended) that lasted until I finally crashed out (excellent sleeping medication). Overall, I was thoroughly pleased with my selection and the amount of it I was given. I really appreciate the compassion and professionalism GTS brings. I will be returning next Sunday, hopefully they get some more of that Saturn in.
ps. If your into concentrates..this place has some of the best wax I've ever seen..real deal yellow chunks of pure heaven..$60 a gram.

New spot off Morena Blvd, right across the street from the MediMar offices. I saw on weedmaps that they were kicking down first time visitors with 5 gram eighths, so I figured it was worth checking out.
Verification wasn't TOO bad, I think I initialed more paperwork here than any other place I've been to. Pay close attention before initialing on rules number 13 and 14...they're optional, so you don't have to. Those two rules were so strange, that even the guy working the front didn't understand them..? I just put n/a on both of those.
After verification, I realized that the guy working the front was also the BT. He open the back door to reveal the biggest bud room I've seen in SD...complete with clone room, living room, and enough extra space to throw a party for at least 100 people.
Nice selection of Indica and Sativa at fair donation prices (15/45-20/60). For my 5 gram eighth I selected 2 grams of their K2 ($20/55 I swear this strain is the old school BULLRIDER..it has that windexy, minty smell that just explodes on the senses. Nugs were pretty leafy, but when they're covered in trich's..it's plausible. Taste was a little mild, but got a nice cerebral rush from it.) 2 grams of their BUBBA WALKER ($20/60 choice nugs with dark red, almost copper colored pistils..not as smelly as some of their other kush, but it was there. Taste was there as well and the high was definitely a creeper.) and 1 gram of their PLATINUM OG ($20/60 super pungent, dense, frosty rocks with high WOW factor..I mean trich city. The taste wasn't over the top, but it did have the flavor. Got blown back off this herb.) I also snatched up a quarter of their G.D.P. ($45/85 super dense buds..good smell and well manicured. Pretty crispy/dry, but I bought the purp cause I like to smoke blunts from time to time and this stuff fits the bill.) and a gram of their Venom OG bubble hash, but the menu says full melt..? BT wasn't sure what it really was either, but said it didn't bubble. It was $25 for the gram which is cheap for bubble or even some real full melt. I had to work early the next day so I ended up getting the gram cause I needed to sleep and hash is the only thing that's getting it done. It ended up working for me, but it wasn't the bubble or even a decent full melt..just some ok.
Overall this spot is chill and worth a visit, especially for your first time 5 gram eighth. BT was new and not very knowledgeable of house strains and policies, but he did have a heavy hand..all together, besides the extra 1.5 on my eighth deal, he gave me over a gram for free.

It's been at least a couple months since my last visit, so I thought I'd go and have a looksy and see what's new.
Their normal corner spot is under renovation so they moved down a room, closer to the laundry mat. All female staff now (who were funny and friendly) instead of an all guy staff. Place is a little smaller and just doesn't have that cozy feel like it once had.... pre-raid. That's about it.
Their meds haven't changed much, they still have basically the same strains they've been carrying since the turnover..post raid (silver haze, pearl, snow cap, ect.) Don't get me wrong, the haze is a gorgeous flower, but it lacks the taste that would make it a $60 strain. PBC is listed on weedmaps as having a $55 cap on eighths, but their in-store menu says otherwise ($60, might wanna change that). I wasn't looking to spend more than $50, so my choices were pretty limited, in fact my choices were next to none (especially for sativas). The BT ended up extending me a bit of compassion and let me slide with a $55 strain (hawgs breath A, more like hogs breath C-) for $50. Dark, dense, crispy kernels..pretty low trich count, not really any wow-factor. BUT.....it did have a nice pungent smell and the taste was surprisingly decent as well, but not that of the real HAWG'Z.. this looked more like a $45 eighth. I do however like the fact that this place is only a couple blocks away from where I lay my head and has REALLY GOOD parking, but with the constant fire that's circulating through that neighborhood..I find it hard to remember this place when I'm in search of some affordable, top shelf kill.

Beach Collective

This was the first dispensary I've been to in this area and after a quick look on weedmaps, it looked like Beach Collective was pretty much setting the bar for OB. I still plan on checking out other spots in the vicinity, but it's gonna be hard for any other club in OB to compare themselves to the selection, quality, and compassion this place offers.
Place was easy to find, but not flashy..very discreet location surrounded by residential homes. Verification was a breeze and there was no wait. There were a couple of buckets on the ground collecting raindrops from a leak in the roof when I walked into the back room, but HEY..we all have our problems..right.? The nug room was super spacious and I was quickly attended to. The female BT showed me their donation price list and gave me a rundown on their edibles and discounts throughout the month of December. I usually go straight for the top shelf meds, but their mid-grades just looked so good, there was no need to. I went with a gram of their Gods Gift $18/55 (stunning light green buds, beautifully manicured and bursting with trichomes and an abundance of golden pistils. Sweet, stinky, fruity smell and a taste to match. High was uplifting and kept me alert) and a gram of their PK Kush (pure kush) (Dark, dense, popcorn nuggets that were a lot more smelly than pretty. Taste was a bit on the harsh side..the smoke was super thick and burned my nose hairs..got me hella baked though)
I also scooped up a half gram of their OG Fullmelt Hash $15/30 (I threw a good size chunk of this stuff on a fluffy bowl of some other green I had and.....MAN that's nice! That thang smoked like a chimney and left me blown back wired with my heart pumping) Think I'll be back soon to try those Moon Rocks! Got a free joint of some OG/Headband for my first visit too..Nice! Usually I get a jay of house shake or some kinda hog moss..lol. Turns out my Gods Gift gram weighed 1.1 and the Kush was a 1.3! End result: 2.4 of herb + .5 of fullmelt hash + joint of OG/headband= $45 (she charged me $15 for the g of Gods Gift instead of $18) I'm loving this place already...So go and treat yourself, especially during this month..all their meds are on sale.
p.s. Loved the prescription bags they put your med bottles in ;)

Once inside, I went straight for ol' Bill and even though the BT showed me some Saturn that almost brought a tear to my eye, I went with my original choice; a gram of their BC OG 20/60. Turns out GTS offers specials on Sunday's..$5 off planetary strain eighths and on Tuesday's the BT's dish out heavy handed 4 gram 1/8's..excluding planetary strains.
Went home, weighed my gram, and turns out the BT had a heavy hand on a Sunday!! 1.7..thank you very much.
Bill Clinton OG is no joke. A pungent member of the OG family that's just as beautiful as any planetary I've seen. Dense, heavy nugs, glistening with trichomes..I mean like GLITTER. Taste was awesome with a smooth after taste to boot. I felt this strain is more of a stinger than a stoner...a real elevated high with those kushy vibes. A well rounded, gorgeous flower everyone should try at least once in a four year term..lol.

Brand new collective in P.B. so you know I'm all over it. First off, this place is almost impossible to miss. Besides the fact it's located smack-dab on the heart of Garnet Ave, the place is painted in a blood red that sets it apart from the rest of the strip. I really liked their walk-way entrance, a very clean and well kept outdoor patio complete with chairs, plants, and wall mural.
Once verified, I was allowed entrance to their nug room where I was welcomed by two exuberant BT's and their chill owner. They gave me a breif rundown of their flowers, clones, and tinctures while I went over their top shelf strains(25/60). I ended up going with a gram of their PURPLE KUSH ( chunky nugs loaded with trichomes and that ever so familiar stench of purp...taste was a little mild, but the high was super stoney) and a gram of WILLY'S WONDER ( do yourself a favor and get some of this stuff..sugary buds with a potent fruity smell, tastes just like it's smell and matched with an invigorating high).
The only reason I didn't give them a 4 star rating on price, ($25 gram) was because the owner only charged me $35 for both grams and even through in a free joint for my first time!!! Now thats compassion. Check this place out, it's definitely worth a visit..I'll be coming back soon to peep their concentrates and new strains.

It's pretty much across the freeway from Mission Valley Mall, in a large building with the address (1333) clearly stated. You have to take an elevator up a floor and then it's just right around the corner to your left. Their waiting room was clean and tidy, though I didn't spend much time there as I was quickly verified and off to see their meds. Nice variety of herb to choose from with a $60 cap on eighths and even some 30/40 dollar ones too. I didn't really see anything too special and to tell you the truth after checking them out I began to focus more on their concentrates, which happen to be very nice and at a compassionate donation price (see review title lol). I ended up going with a gram of their OG Kush Kief and a gram of their Sour OG..just because I felt like I had to at least try SOME of their top shelf flowers..to make for a more "well-rounded review". End result, the Sour OG was decent, but not worth $20/60...(nice fluffy, light green buds with more of a light brown than an orange pistil color..I thought it lacked a bit in smell and WOW factor, the high was right on though) I made sure to smoke a couple bowls of the Sour by itself before I piled on some kief. The kief was bomb! It went perfect with the bud I got from there, it turned my average dank into some kill. I almost forgot to mention that they had a microscope attached to a little flat screen so you can check their strains for trichome count..nice addition. Oh and they gave me a free edible for my first visit, can't wait to eat it tomorrow.

I didn't see too many co-op's advertising on weedmaps for Black Friday, but GKC was, and I actually received an email from them regarding their discounts for the day.
After a thorough inspection of their flowers, I decided on a half ounce of their Fire OG $230. At this price, I would probably just stick to an eighth $60, but since they took off $20, I went ahead and got the half pie. The OG really was really fire, so I must say that it did live up to it's name. I also picked up a half-gram $17 of their Banana Infusion, which I know is extremely expensive, but I just had to try it. Turns out this Infused stuff is crazy potent, I mean I felt an instant rush of I don't know what, but I liked it. I smoked a bowl hours ago and I'm still feeling it. It really wasn't very tasty or stinky, but the high is unreal..just like the price;)

All the spots in my neighborhood closed up shop early today, so I was relieved to see that Uni was still open late and even open for thanksgiving.
When I got there there was a minor issue with my paperwork (I had no idea you had to bring in your original document everytime you visit) and they were having trouble finding me in the computer, but it was quickly resolved and I was allowed to go back and see the BT. I noticed that practically all their top shelf strains are now $65/eighth..bummer. Don't get me wrong their meds are out of this world, I just don't believe in out of this world donation prices. I actually wanted to try two different strains, but since all their meds are pre-weighed, a split eighth is not an option. I ended up getting an eighth of their ULTRA BLUE ROMULAN $65 (an impeccable indica just glowing with trichomes and dark orange pistils. though it wasn't as stinky as some of their other strains, it made up for it with a pulverizing punch of a high..I swear my heart started to race rapidly after snapping a fatty. taste wasn't really discribable, it was more of a pungent after taste that seemed to linger on my palate.)
Wish I could of tried the STRAWBERRY CREAM too, but getting a gram of each for $50 or an eighth of each for $130 is illogical and out of my price range. I would love to try more of their strains, I hope they come up with a way to let their patients experience multiple strains without draining the ol' wallet..if spliting an eighth is not possible, then maybe a 3 gram sampler or quarter sampler would suffice.

Happy to be the first patient to review this spot. It was fairly easy to find, located right off of LJ Blvd. on the second floor of a large building facing the street. Patients in wheelchairs not to worry, there is an elevator. Walked in and was quickly verified by a friendly, young lady working the front. After filling out a couple pages, she informed me that the owner/B.T. was off property and would be arriving shortly..? The only reason I didn't give them a low score on staff or convenience is because the owner showed up minutes later, actually sprinting through the door, and seemed to be genuinely sorry that I had been waiting on him.
When I was being lead to the bud room, I was surprized to see how big the rest of the dispensery was. The main chamber, I thought, was very unique..dimly lit with bright spot lights concentrated on a dark table where the BT displayed the medicine. I peered at a couple strains before deciding on an eighth of FUCHSIA 20/60 (a beautifully grown hybrid with dark violet tones and a flavor that will surely satisfy even the pickiest of taste buds) and an eighth of HEADBAND 20/60 (sticky nugs full of trichomes and a very undeniable odor..I thought it lacked a bit in taste though)..overall both of these strains are bomb and worth a visit to see for yourself. Plus they give you a 5 gram eighth as a welcome gift, you really can't beat that. Will be back soon to check out their concentrates and edibles.

Yes..the reviews are true, if you haven't peeped the new strains at SDHHC yet, then you are seriously missing out. The Planetary O.G. strains are devastating, especially MARS ( my personal fav) just an all around perfect flower, rich and full of flavor. The JUPITER was also very nice , I see that they're already out of it. I was in again recently and saw a couple new strains, one of which they've also added to their private reserve..SWISS CHEESE 25/65.. and a slightly cheaper strain..BLUE MARTIAN 20/55, the one I ended up getting. Both buds were beautiful looking though, I will definitely be back to try that SWISS CHEESY.
PS..the Diesel Wax I got from there was amazing. Great for my insomnia. A nice glob of this stuff on some of this O.G. and "that's all folks"

I really do depend on this place sometimes for my meds. When I'm in a bind and in need of some healing, this place is close by, and offers a quick solution to my problems. However on this occasion that was not the case. I showed up on my lunch break (5:30pm), a good hour and half before they closed (7pm) only to find a locked door and the beginning of a very long night.

I was very happy to be verified with my passport since I lost my CA ID. I'm a P.B. local and this spot is just right up the hill from me. I was really surprized that they stayed open so late and it was busy. There was a dude in there painting a big piece of the planets/solor system while I was waiting for my turn with the budtender. Very nice selection of Indica and Sativa, ended up walking with a first time 4 gram eighth of SATURN...a very pungent indica promised to put me out by the budtender. Well it did the trick. I also picked up a couple edibles that I havent eaten yet, but will soon. Overall a hands down 4 outta 5 rating!!! Check this place out.

Greeen Tree usually has a nice selection of OZ specials. My friend and fellow Green Tree patient and I decieded to split the MANGO and Mr. NICE both priced at 325 an ounce. We both thought the MANGO was rather dry, but still delivered a nice fruity smell and taste. Mr. NICE was nicer, a little crisp, but full of crystals. Both really got us baked and at the price we payed, a very good deal I would say..

Convenience is key..and only 5 blocks away...I think I've found my spot. A quick verification, Pretty sick club card, and a chill budtendress. They didn't have much of a selection as other clubs I've been to, but they made up for it in quality. A couple strains caught my eye, but it was the Bubba K that did it for me..the freshest batch I've seen yet. I really just came to get verified, but ended up getting a gram of the bubba for $20 and since it was my first time here, they kicked me down with a free brownie that I'm actually medicating with at the moment..and really the reason I'm writting this. Half Brownie.....nice! Glad I didn't eat the whole thing. Will def be back.

Checked this place out on a whim. Prime location for a colletive, hidden, big parking lot, not really anybody around. After buzzin the bell I was greeted by gentleman who unlocked the door and led me in. Fairly painless verification process. I noticed they had a chill little area on the side with a couch and what looked like a 42" with the nature channel on. Really cool and chatty staff. The Budtendress was standing behind...how can I say this..a more doctors office looking outlet in the wall, you know instead of your usual smokeshop style dispensery. Anyways, the majority of meds I saw were pretty low grade...I mean, they all just seemed to smell the same, all pretty crispy or dry. I see alot of people that have commented..like this. I guess I'm just such a spoiled son-of-a-bitch, that only the best will satisfy. You guys just need to get some fresher meds, change your menu around a bit. As far as I'm concered these prices you have are a turn off..I mean $45 eights and $295 ounces of super silver haze!!! If this was really the bomb haze you wouldn't dare sell it for so cheap. You already have the great, quiet, outta the way location that your friends in P.B. don't have..Com'on, do it for the only club in Point Loma and make a name for yourselves. I will be back to check you out soon , so hopefully you take my advice. I am part of a large group of friends with illnesses who use medical marijuana religiously and believe me when I say that nug news travels fast my friends.

Born and raised in Pacific Beach, I feel it's my duty to check out every new spot that opens up in our little western community. First off I should explain the 4star rating under convenience. GEHC is located on the main strip: GARNET AVE. it's between rare and impossible to find a spot during peak hours. Once inside you find yourself amongst table displays showcasing everything from organic beauty products to organic clothing. There they also have a couple little cozy chairs to chill out while you wait to be verified. It went fairly quickly for me because they didn't appear to be that busy at the time, that and because I spent the wait getting acquainted with the shop owner, Theresa, who by the way was super nice and made me feel right at home. Before I knew it I was in the back room where I was only required to date and sign a document to be thoroughly admitted. I noticed the budtendress was wearing a scrub, hospital type uniform..thought that was a nice touch. Got to check out the flowers they had with a huge, lit up, magnifying glass that inabled me to see exactly what I was getting. Soo many choices, but it was the Strawberry Cream the made my mouth water, I'm under it's spell at the moment and let's just say it's Fire! one hitter quitter worthy. $22 a gram was the price..kinda pricy, but they had some other bomb strains that were as low as $16 a gram. The eighth cap was $65, also pretty steep, but the quality is there so it's worth it. They had some very decent Brainwreck for $310 a zip...very nice, I've seen a hella of a lot worse for $20-$30 more. Overall this place is unique from any other spot I've seen and is worth a visit, put it on your to-do-list.

GEHC is located on the main strip: GARNET AVE. it's between rare and impossible to find a spot during peak hours. Once inside you find yourself amongst table displays showcasing everything from organic beauty products to organic clothing. There they also have a couple little cozy chairs to chill out while you wait to be verified. It went fairly quickly for me because they didn't appear to be that busy at the time, that and because I spent the wait getting acquainted with the shop owner, Theresa, who by the way was super nice and made me feel right at home. Before I knew it I was in the back room where I was only required to date and sign a document to be thoroughly admitted. I noticed the budtendress was wearing a scrub, hospital type uniform..thought that was a nice touch. Got to check out the flowers they had with a huge, lit up, magnifying glass that inabled me to see exactly what I was getting. Soo many choices, but it was the Strawberry Cream the made my mouth water, I'm under it's spell at the moment and let's just say it's Fire! one hitter quitter worthy. $22 a gram was the price..kinda pricy, but they had some other bomb strains that were as low as $16 a gram. The eighth cap was $65, also pretty steep, but the quality is there so it's worth it. They had some very decent Brainwreck for $310 a zip...very nice, I've seen a hella of a lot worse for $20-$30 more. Overall this place is unique from any other spot I've seen and is worth a visit, put it on your to-do-list.

Let me start out by saying how happy I am to have another legit dispensery so close to where I live. After the recent events that took place, I've been left with the task of hunting down a new, close, collective to frequent. Well I can finally relax, cause I've found it. Finding SDHHC wasn't too hard and I like the fact that I didn't have to stand outside and wait after ringing some door bell or knocking. I walked straight in were I was greeted by a cute and friendly front desk girl who took my og doc and I.D. and verified me while I filled out one page of paperwork, very quick!! After that I was permitted to enter their nug room were I was greeted by two, very chill budtenders. I was relieved to see they had a wide variety of meds, all of which were at decent prices. No grams over $20, No eighths over $60, and ounce deals you wouldn't believe, saw a bunch of $300 and lower that were still very nice. I wanted to try their super top shelf, so I went with a gram of God's Gift and a gram of True OG, plus since it was my first time there, they gave me a free brownie!! Just blazed a bowl of the Gift and I'm straight, can't wait to try the OG later on tonight when I get off work. Overall SDHHC most definitely gets a 5, which puts this place high up on a pedestal in my book. Check em' out and you will see what I mean.

So long story short I went for a g of the Cherry Kush for $25 (still a little pricey, but I figured "what the hell") Anyway, something I was really happy to see was that they had fat cone pre-rolls of Master Kush for only $15..great deal. They also informed me that they had some house shake coming pretty soon here for $10 a g. Overall the staff was very hospitable and the Kush I got was fire, and it had a real sweet and sour taste to it. (very stoney indica) I don't have the money for $30 g's and $70 eighths, but I will definitely be back for those 1.3g, $15, pre-rolls.

Just can't say enough good things about this place, it's my go to spot. Went there today to pick up some clones and to scope out some of their new arrival meds. I ended up going with 3 Silver Pearl clones and their last Purple Kush clone. All looked healthy and well nourished. I was surprized how fast their 1x brownies take to hit you, I think it was about maybe 20min after I macked it down that I started to feel the meds. They are smaller than normal looking brownies and pack quite a taste, but I like that. This was my first visit to the Kush Lounge and though it's a bit far from where I live, I decided to check em out. I actually planed it to have lunch in the Gaslamp Quarter and just walk over. By the time I got there I realized that they might not let my girl in and I didn't want her waiting outside, but they were cool about it and let her wait in the lounge area...two huge couches and plenty of chairs and places to hang out and absorb the huge mural paintings on the walls. Verification was a breeze and after a brief wait, I was called in. I love the variety that the Kush Lounge and the Green Kross offer, they both truly have some of the best selection in town. I ended up going with an eighth split: OG HEEZ which is a OG/CHEESE Hybrid and the famous Jack Herer, both pungent as hell and covered with trichomes ($60 which is reasonable). I gave the staff a three star rating because the female budtender who helped me was either tired or completely ripped! Whatever the case, she seemed very distracted and there was even some confusion as to what meds I had picked out. The girl who verified me was hella cool though, maybe you should bring her upstairs. Overall this place has some killer meds and I would recommend a visit if you've never been.

Their SILVER and PEARL are prime examples of what 60 dollar eighths should look like, the total package. I would recommend you stick to buying only an eighth, I saw the ounce price listed at $480!!!! I think thats a town record. I liked that they dropped that "buy by the gram" bullshit they use to do, but the donation prices are still a little far fetched. Overall, the staff seems a little wet behind the ears, but thats understandable when you have a fresh batch of employees. They did mention that they would be offering up to 20 different strains soon and a selection of clones. After a brief wait, I was verified and led into their nug room. There was a huge window that replaced the wall and offered a gorgeous view of LJ Cove, nice touch! Immediately I noticed they had a particular strain that was as low as $20 an eighth..a sorry low grade option. I would rather see a decent $40/45 choice, not something that was grown wrong and sold at a phenomenal discount. When I asked to see the top shelf, I was shown a strain I've never heard of..M.I.L.F. ($60cap) which actually looked pretty bomb and had a nice fruity smell to it. I also picked up a $10 tincture, that I have yet to test, but will review when I do. The B.T./F.D also kicked me down with a free gram of some other stuff called Thai Haze since it was my first time, but it smelled kinda moldy to me. Overall this club is real convenient considering I work right down the street, but just doesn't offer the type of meds I'm after.

The only thing that bothered me was the price, $22 grams and $65 eighths. I actually only had $60 cash on me thinking that would be enough for an eighth, so when I saw the price I was a bit crushed. No instore ATM, so I had to roll with 2 grams: 44 bucks...ouch. Well the PP was bomb and I would love to get some more when I'm out, but sadly it is a little too pricy for me. As always the staff is super chill and more than hospitable.

First off I must give Grand Organics it's much deserved props! I mean, a 50 dollar cap on eighths is a thing of beauty and from what I've seen, a town record. I was in the other day and scooped up a little sample bag of their top shelf meds. I promised to write a review so here it goes...
(GT- Beautiful looking with mad trichomes. It was kinda crispy, a bit on the dry side. Minimal smell and taste. Mild stoneyness.)
(HASH WRECK- Gorgeous, fresh buds. Mild smell, but not too tasty. Made me sleepy.)
(CRITICAL MASS- Good looking strain, very light green. Not too much taste, but had a faint smell unlike anything I've smelled before. One super positive thing about this particular med is that it helps with pain..cancer pain. One of my good friends and cancer patient swears by it, saying it's the only erb that truly does the job. After his surgerys he medicates with Critical Mass and feels no pain!! So give it a try, it just might work for you too.)

To tell you the truth there really wasn't any shake in there, mostly little popcorn nuggets, perfect for blunt material. I also noticed they re-up'd on that bomb ass Lemon Kush..$300 a zip. I bought the very last of it last time I was in there. Hands down best staff in San Diego! When I walked in today there were some out-of-towners in the waiting room confused as to why they couldn't enter without their original documents..? Hello? They must not know who Bonnie Dumanis is. They were kinda giving the BT a hard time about it, but in the end he did the right thing and didn't let her in. Stay away from this place Bonnie, they're doing it right.

This place closes at 5PM Mon-Sat so I ran my errands a little earlier in the day to catch them before they close. Fairly easy to find with big signs pointing the way. Street level access so no stairs. There was no patient ahead of me so I was verified quickly and was off to see the BT soon after. I actually came to check out the P91 $20/$55, but was disappointed to see an inferior strain. The BT steered me towards their top shelf Grapefruit Romulan $20/$60, which was super pungent and made me forget all about about the P91. I went with an eighth of the Gfruit and he threw in a free brownie for my first visit. Quickly macked down the brownie when I got home and whipped out the Gfruit for a taste... It surprisingly lacked the ummph in taste I was expecting from this smelly strain:( should of gotten the Bubba Kush. Overall chill staff with a nice compassionate feel to the place. Will be back soon to check out the Kali Mist and BlackBerry the BT was telling me they got on the way.
p.s. Brownie gave me an all right/so so body high. It tasted a little too good and that sometimes can be an indicator of potency.

I'm surprised I haven't checked this place out sooner. Real easy to find, right on Garnet. I'm pretty sure this place use to be a tattoo shop so they have a big waiting room with pawn shop bars when you first walk in. Verification consisted of signing 3 sheets and striking a pose...for a picture..yes, they use club cards. A turn off in my book, my wallet is bulging with them. Once inside the nug room the BT gave me the rundown and I was quickly drawn towards the Platinum Bubba $20/$65..a little pricey for 1/8 and the BT said they had recently dropped the price from $70?? I'm surprised I haven't checked this place out sooner. Real easy to find, right on Garnet. I'm pretty sure this place use to be a tattoo shop so they have a big waiting room with pawn shop bars when you first walk in. Verification consisted of signing 3 sheets and striking a pose...for a picture..yes, they use club cards. A turn off in my book, my wallet is bulging with them. Once inside the nug room the BT gave me the rundown and I was quickly drawn towards the Platinum Bubba $20/$65..a little pricey for 1/8 and the BT said they had recently dropped the price from $70?? And I thought I was just gonna mack this lemon bar down. After the first couple bits I realized that probably wasn't going to happen. The taste..to me was a good taste, the taste of a potent edible (3X/$10). I can't imagine what the 10X would taste like. I was about halfway when I figured that would probably be enough. Sure enough about an hour later I started to feel the effects, gotta real nice body high off of it. I don't eat alot of ed's, but the next time I do I'll be looking for those GRAM'S MEDICAL EDIBLES at SDHHC.

Stopped by yesterday to see what's new and was plesantly surprised to see something other than the M.I.L.F. topping the dry-erase board. Two in particular looked more appealing to me; Afgoo and Pure Kush(both 20/60). I wanted to try a little of each, so I asked the BT if he could weigh me out a half gram of each. At first he was hesitant and said he couldn't do it, but he must have seen my utmost dissapointed face and ended up showing some compassion. He actually ended up throwing in a 1.3 of some super purple Sour Diesel for free, also got a $5 pre-rolled of outdoor shake, and he threw in a free lighter.
Afgoo: Nice looking and pretty fresh (just a bit crisp), plenty of orange hairs and loaded with trichomes. Smell is a mix of must and grass. Taste is definitely partial to the Goo, nice thick smoke and no harsh taste at all. Medication strength/high is an 8 out of 10.
Pure Kush: Beautifully grown kush. Totally frosted buds with a rich sugary smell. Taste is very clean, but rather flavorless. Med strength/high is an 8 out of 10.
Sour Diesel: Completely Purple buds or even a dark purple, pretty weird, especially for the D. Twas a little on the dry side and lacked that undeniable smell. Taste was not there and smoke was pretty harsh. Med strength/high is a 6 out of 10.
Pre-Rolled: Some dry outdoor or indoor (no sure) shake rolled up and ready to go. 5 jays (maybe a g each) for $20 or 1 for $5. Taste ;(..could barley finish the damn thing it was so harsh. Well it did however do the job cause I was highly medicated off of it. Med strength is an 7 out of 10.

When I'm running low on meds and I'm looking for some kill, I like to hit up the Kross cause they always got the goods. Before I left I checked out the menu and was surprized to see they had one of my favorite strains..Godzooky. Lets just say that had me on my way. Got there and my eyes were immediately scanning for the Zookster...but there wasn't any. The BT said that they were having problems with their weedmaps account and that they had the Zooky about 5 days ago. A little disappointed, but I quickly got over it after seeing what other new dank they had. I ended up going with an eighth split for $55..half SKUNK#1 $60 (a super pungent unmistakable odor, beautiful frosty buds slathered with trichomes, the usual skunky taste and a nice active high) and half SUPER SILVER HAZE $50 (gorgeous poporn kernels covered in bright orange hairs.that inside of a smoke shop incense smell that tingles your nose hairs. personally I thought it lacked a bit in taste, but this strain finished up with a real mellow vibe high..me likey..perfect for dealing with bullshit at work ;)

Thank God for a close dispensery. I mean, I felt the migraine coming, didn't bring my meds to work with me, and knew if I didn't medicate I would have to suffer the wrath. So I quickly whipped out my phone and hit up weedmaps to see what time they closed..to my surprise they were open till 7pm so I got there a good half hour before they closed. I really only had about 50 bucks on me so my selection was pretty limited. I still checked out their top shelf and it really wasn't that impressive. I quickly rolled up some dreamy stuff and puffed it till I was in a better place. First time to Uni and coming all the way from P.B.. it was quite the journey. A winding road off Texas before you take a quick right and up a fairly steep driveway. I made my way inside and had the most easiest and fastest verification I've ever had. I literally handed the lady my original doc and I.D. and WHAAALA! NO PAPERWORK OR WAIT!
There was one patient in there already so I just let him finish up while I took the place in. Didn't really like the fact that their product is pre-bottled, even sample jars are not within reach. Meanwhile the BT is having a conversation with another employee, I actually had to interupt them to get some attention and even then I didn't feel too "high priority" to them..I mean, I don't expect every collective to give me the royal treatment, but I do expect some compassion. Atleast your attention when I'm visiting you for my meds..and a first time patient at that. The two chicks in the front were cool though and put me up on game with an up&coming event.
Now to the Meds..I got a quarter, an eighth of BANANA KUSH, and an eighth of BLACKBERRY KUSH $110 (I actually got $10 off with a coupon out of NUG MAG or it would of been $120) The BANANA KUSH was super stinky and it tasted the same way. Beautiful, frosty, golden sugar nugs with a dominating high. The BLACKBERRY was also top notch. It had that fruity/nutty smell to it and was just blingin with trichomes. I smoked a bowl of it after a bowl of the BANANA and it put me down. I can barely hold my eyes open enough to finish this review.
Also picked up a $10 Fruity Pebble treat that tasted too good and I knew it wasn't going to do much to me...well I feel a little body high going, but thats probably just the KUSH talking.

Just so happen to stumble into this place because the Medical Cup just so happen to be held in the same building. I really liked the look of this place..a very spacious waiting area which looked similar to an office, complete with desk and what looked like a business man. I sat down with him to be verified and signed 3 or 4 papers. For some reason I was felling a bit interrogated..he was asking me questions like "where did you grow up?" and "what school you go to?"..IDK I just though he was being over-precautious and grilling me thinking I was an undercover or something. weird vibe. Once inside the bud room I was kinda disappointed to see only 6 strains "behind the glass", so I had to ask to see something, which I don't like. I didn't wanna be a dick and leave without making a donation so I just got a gram$20 of the best of the 6 and they kicked me down with a free edible. The strain I went with for some reason had a sacred herb sticker on it..? and I'm possitive I didn't get that, and now I don't remember what I got to begin with. Anyways the erb I got from there was not TOP SHELF..try lowering the gram to 16..17

I needed some bomb to take to the 1st Annual San Diego Medical Cup yesterday, so of course I had to hit up my go to guys right here in Bird Rock. I was hella syked that they had re-up'd on the God's Gift..one of my fav's from SDHHC. Even though it's listed at 190 for a half ounce..it's still a good deal considering the quality of this strain. I went ahead and got a half and they took $10 off!! Thanks guys and don't worry, I represented for you at the Cup. People were catching a whiff of the Gift and I let um know where it came from! Will be in soon to check out your planetary strains..$65 huh..must be some fire...
